The Flower of Life Art Gallery Grand Opening Exhibition

" Man’s Best Friend "

The Flower of Life Art Gallery was established in April of 2013 and opened alongside and in conjunction with the new location of the World Famous Tattoo City - Skin Art Studio which has done business in Lockport since 1994. The gallery holds several group art exhibitions each year featuring talented artists from around the globe. Some of the galleries proceeds benefit different local charity organizations so we can help support our neighbors in need. The gallery hosts shows for the Artist Guild of Lockport (TAGOL) several times per year.

“Tattoo City was originally opened in 1994 in Lockport, IL by Larry Brogan and has grown into one of the best and most award winning tattoo shops in the Midwest. After more than 18 years in business, Tattoo City will be opening a second location along with the beautiful Flower of Life Art Gallery at 1601 State Street in Lockport IL located 3.5 miles south of our original location.”

Our Grand Opening is planned for Saturday April 13th 2013 and you are invited!

We will be kicking off the new shop with a gallery show titled "Man's Best Friend" based on family pets where we will hold a web based auction with part of the proceeds benefiting the All Herding Breed Dog Rescue of Illinois. www.allherdingbreeddogrescue.com The show will hang until June 30th. We will be holding 4 yearly art expositions with proceeds benefiting local charity's.

The Art Gallery will be holding painting seminars throughout the year taught by different fine artists from around America that will be open to the public so we can share some art education with our many friends.

We expect our parking lot to fill up but there is a train station parking lot located a half block north of the shop that you can use.
