This work documents the process of letting go. Of preconceptions about myself, my art and my process, and the relationships I have with all of them. The struggle to escape the darkness into the light, a rebirth from the internal nightmare that tries to claw me back into the abyss. Basic and base, all consuming and powerful, I must pull myself from her warm, suffocating embrace to emerge into the cold heartless light.
